Ardie is a very hard working leader. I retired him from racing after the '07 Iditarod and I'll miss him. He now trains young dogs.
Vanilla and Ardie are litter mates and with 7 years the oldest dogs in my team. We call Vanilla the princess - she thinks she is special. But don't underestimate her - she is one of the toughest dogs I know. She is also the mother of Clark, Scott, Nellie, Alexi and Bishop.

Cruiser is currently the "Kennel Boss". He is 6 years old, experienced and a very good and smart leader. Cruiser, Stella, Linus, Snoopy, Franklin and little Luna share the same father (Trotter) - one of the best sled dogs Andy ever owned.
Linus is one of my key leaders and the '07 race was his first Idiatrod. He finished in lead together with Vanilla. He is smart and tough and I think the last race helped him build confidence.
Nellie is the 5th key leader in my Iditarod team. With only 35lbs. she is a small dog but fast and smart. Vanilla is her mother and Nellie is Luna's mother.
Luna is 3 years old now and ran and finished her first Iditarod last year. I have great hopes for her - I'm training her this year to be a leader and she is doing very well.
Franklin (5 yrs.) is always happy, always wants to go and always has something to say. He is a very hard worker - sometimes work too hard. He probably could have finished the race last year, but he just seemed tired and wasn't having much fun anymore - that's when I decided to drop him.
Clark (5): absolutely loves people and loves to run. Like Franklin, Clark is also a "spark plug" - they fire up the team when ready to go. He was still barking when I crossed the finish line in Nome. He has run also 2 Iditarods and the Kobuk 440.
Scott (5) - a great team mate. He sometimes gets "lost" in the team because he has a calmer personality and doesn't ask for much attention. He is a strong dog, hard worker and always there. He was also in my finishing team last year.
Alexi (5) is sometimes a little people shy, but I love her personality. She is very smart and tough. She has finished every race she started including 2 Iditarods and the Kobuk 440.
Bishop (5) is not a very big dog, but strong and tough. He's has finished every race he started including 2 Iditarods and the Kobuk 440.
Snoopy (5) is a litter mate to Franklin and Linus. He is the tallest dog, but he's built a lot lighter then Foraker. He was in my finishing team in last year's race.
Uno is with 2 years the youngest dog in training right now. I can tell, he doesn't have a lot of experience and I can't push him too much. I want to make sure he has fun and can learn from the "old" guys. He has a great personality and runs nicely.
Foraker is only 3 years old and a pretty big guy. He got sick to his stomach on the very first day of Iditarod '07 and I had to drop him. I hope he will do better this year - he is very strong and I hope he can help me getting over the mountains.

Stella is a litter mate to Cruiser. She is a very loyal dog and won't work for everybody. With 50 lbs. she is average in size. She was not in my team last year because she was in heat. This summer I finally spayed her, because I really want her to make my team this year.
Maia is a litter mate to Foraker and Hunter. I trained her last year, but she didn't make my team. She is 3 years old now and so far she is doing fine. She is pretty and has very nice personality.
Mugsy is 6 years old and I just bought him this fall. His is a running machine! Nice size and very strong - I bought him to add power to my team and there is no doubt that he does exactly that.
Hunter is a Brother to Foraker and also a pretty big guy. Like Uno, he doesn't have any experience yet (I didn't train him last year) and I'll see how he does in training.
Bay is a 3 year old that I also bought this fall. He has very nice gates and always loves to go. I think he is a good addition to the team.
